What I actually do with your information.
Last updated August 29, 2026.
I collect what you hand me, your name, email, and website address, so I can get back to you. I don't sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers. I don't run analytics or tracking scripts on this site. That's the whole policy. The rest is just the detail behind it.
What I collect
If you use the free site check, email me, or ask for a quote, I get whatever you typed in: your name, your email address, and the website you're asking about. That's it. There's no account to create and no profile being built on you.
Cloudflare, the network this site runs on, keeps basic technical logs for every website it hosts (things like IP address and browser type), the same way any host does, mainly for security and abuse prevention. I don't pull reports from that data or use it for anything myself.
What I use it for
Replying to you. If you run the free site check, your info is used to email you the result and, if it makes sense, follow up about building your new site. That's the extent of it, there's no newsletter, no drip campaign, and no list you get added to without asking.
What I don't do
I don't sell your information, I don't rent it out, and I don't hand it to ad networks or data brokers. This site doesn't load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other tracking script. The only thing stored in your browser is a single preference, whether you'd rather view this site in light or dark mode, and that never leaves your device.
Payments
If you buy a website through a checkout link on this site, that payment is handled directly by Stripe, not by me. I never see or store your card details, Stripe's own privacy policy covers that part.
Deleting your info
Email me and ask, and I'll delete whatever I have on you. No form to fill out, no "verifying your identity" runaround, just a normal reply.
Changes to this page
If anything meaningful changes about how I handle your information, I'll update this page and move the date at the top.
Questions about any of this? It's just me running Owned Web, and I read every email myself.
